Army Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) celebrates its 62nd Founding Anniversary

The Philippine Army's Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) celebrated its 62nd founding anniversary with the Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Roy M Galido as Guest of Honor and Speaker at Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on June 25, 2024.

 

The anniversary with the theme "Matatag na Special Forces para sa Bagong Pilipinas," demonstrates the commitment of SFRA to innovate and develop its capabilities, adapting to contemporary challenges to effectively address emerging threats.

 

In his address, Lt. Gen. Galido expressed profound appreciation for the Special Forces troops and emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards. "Mahirap mag maintain ng standard, yung kasabihan satin na "Di bale na mamatay wag lang mapahiya." This provides us a reason to do our best always. From that statement, you are always putting your best foot forward or your best effort at any given time," he remarked.
