Philippine Army hosts committee meeting for AAAM 2024

The Philippine Army conducted a Technical Committee Meeting (TCM) to all representatives of participating nations in the ASEAN Armies Annual Meet (AAAM) 2024 at Training and Doctrine Command Headquarters, Camp O'Donnell, Sta. Lucia, Capas, Tarlac on June 25, 2024.

 

The AAAM 2024 is an annual international engagement between ASEAN that fosters continuous development of military-to-military cooperation, enhances joint operational capability, and ensures regional security. It will involve three major events such as the 32nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM), 25th ASEAN Chief of Armies Multilateral Meeting (ACAMM), and the 12th ASEAN Sergeant Major Annual Meeting (ASMAM), respectively.

 

The meeting will run until June 27, 2024 that involves endorsement of a rulebook for the shooting competition, inspection of firing ranges, live demonstration of firing events, and establishment of agenda in ACAMM and ASMAM.

 

Chief of Staff, Philippine Army Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba acknowledged all contingents in contributing their time and efforts during the initial stage of the AAAM 2024. "We take this as an affirmation of your commitment and allegiance to the ideals and vision we share as a strong and united ASEAN members," the Army Chief of Staff said.
