CSAFP visits wounded soldiers at Army hospital

The highlight of the visit was the ceremonial turnover of financial assistance from private donors and care packages from the Armed Forces of the Philippines Officers Ladies Club to 97 soldiers wounded in action. The said soldiers were wounded in the encounters with the lawless terrorist groups in Marawi City and in other parts of the country.
Gen. Año was accompanied by the Army Vice Commander, Maj. Gen. Harold N. Cabreros, and Army Support Command (ASCOM) Commander Maj. Gen. Elmer C. Pabale. The AFP Officers Ladies Club members were led by Mrs. Jean Jocelyn Maria D. Año, Dr. Beth Vingson, and Mrs. Arlene Collado.
Año seized the opportunity to talk to the soldiers. “The profession of arms is the best profession. It is where we can serve God, our country, our people, and our family. Sa inyo ating mga bayani, hangad ko ang inyong paggaling ng mabilis. Get well soon and congratulations to all the contributions that you have given for our country. Mabuhay kayong lahat!,” said Año.#
