FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army donned star ranks to 5 newly promoted generals in a ceremony held here, Monday, January 8, 2018.
The Philippine Army Commanding General, Lieutenant General Rolando Joselito D. Bautista led the donning of ranks during the flag raising ceremony.
The promoted generals are Maj. Gen. Roseller G. Murillo, Commander of the 1st Infantry Division; Brig. Gen. Filemon D. Mamaril, Jr, Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command; Brig. Gen. Alden Juan C. Masagca, Commander of the 901st Brigade, 9ID; Brig. Gen. Eliezer L. Losañes, Commander of the 303rd Brigade, 3ID; and Brig. Gen. Leopoldo A. Imbang, Jr., Commander of the 503rd Brigade, 5ID.
“Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion. Keep up the good work as agents of transformation and continue to guide our organization towards its goal of a world-class Army that is a source of national pride,” said Lt. Gen. Bautista.
Headquarters based officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees were present during the event. The spouses of the newly promoted generals were also present in the ceremony.#
