Special Assistant to the President joins Army Reserve Force

Special Assistant to the President Antonio Ernesto F. Lagdameo, Jr., received the Lieutenant Colonel rank in the Army’s reserve force in a commissioning ceremony presided by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on February 20, 2023.
 
Lt. Gen. Brawner, in his keynote remarks, cited the valuable role of Army reservists in nation-building, particularly in saving lives amid natural calamities across the country. “With the addition of Lieutenant Colonel Lagdameo and his valuable expertise in politics, legislation, and business, I am sure that now more than ever, the Reserve Force will achieve greater heights,” the Army Chief remarked.
 
”To Lt. Col. Lagdameo, may you perform with utmost fervor and may your dedication and example of heeding the call of service inspire more of our countrymen to serve the nation,” the CGPA said.
 
Lt. Col. Lagdameo served as Davao del Norte's 2nd District representative from 2007 to 2016. As a public servant, Lt. Col. Lagdameo's main focus was on rural and agricultural development, education, tourism, and sustainable development.
