Since its establishment in 2019, the hub was originally known as the Regiment Integrated Counselling Office (RICO) but was recently renamed as Behavioral Hygiene Hub. The unit focuses on assisting every soldier to create goals that will help them achieve a dynamic military career. The office also gives counseling to promote development concerning both personal characteristics and interpersonal competencies.

Cpt Julius Alexander L. Driodoco, Chief of Behavioral Hygiene Hub, highlighted the significance of BHH to the Scout Rangers, “Instrumento ang FSRR Behavioral Hygiene Hub upang masigurado na may titingin at malalapitan ang mga Scout Ranger para sa mga problema na hindi karaniwan na nakikita. Ang BHH din ang paalala na bawat Scout Ranger ay may makakausap at may makikinig sa kanila anumang oras at kahit saan,” he said.

The Behavioral Hygiene Hub also supports one of the facets of the command guidance, SERVE, which takes care of the physical and mental health of every soldier - the Army’s most valuable resource. Some of the activities conducted by the hub involve individual and group counseling, body map activity, neuro-psychiatric testing, burn-out test, self-rating depression scale, stress management lecture, individual sharing, stress debriefing activities, pre-deployment character-building activities, trauma risk management training, and psychological first aid.
