SFR(A) holds Quarterly Airborne Sustainment Jump

The Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) conducted its first Quarterly Airborne Sustainment Jump at the regiment’s headquarters in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on February 21 to 24, 2023.

SFR(A) Regiment Commander Brig. Gen. Ferdinand B. Napuli led Special Forces in conducting the sustainment jumps where SF operators are lifted 2000 feet from the ground by fixed wing or a rotary wing assets. SF operators then jump mid-air with the objective of landing on strategic drop zones, regroup, and perform special operations.

Troops, officers, and even generals from across major services of the Armed Forces of the Philippines who have graduated from the Basic Airborne Course gather at the Air Operations Department of the Special Forces School for the jump, making it also one of the largest gathering of the Airborne Troopers in the military establishment.
