Army welcomes new Provost Marshal

The Office of the Army Provost Marshal welcomed Col. Cezar J. Conte as its new chief in a ceremony on March 8, 2023 at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
In a Change of Chief of Office and Retirement Ceremony presided by Chief of Staff, Philippine Army Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba, outgoing Army Provost Marshal Col. Randy O. Remonte relinquished the post to Col. Conte - a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) "Bantay Laya" Class of 1994. He held various leadership positions from the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel (J1), Armed Forces of the Philippines before his new post. He also served as the Commanding Officer of the 7th Field Artillery Battalion and the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, G1, Army Artillery Regiment.
 
On the other hand, Col. Remonte is a member of PMA "Maalab" Class of 1993. He led the unit since June 2020 and also served as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, G3, 4th Infantry Division, PA. During his stint, he administered and resolved 778 cases for the Army and facilitated 110 training sessions for safety within the headquarters. Col. Remonte rendered almost 34 years of active military service and will continue his journey as part of the reserve force.
 
Maj. Gen. Camba extended his well wishes to Col Remonte and Col. Conte for taking another step into their life's journey. "Discipline is the foundation of a military organization. Thank you, Col. Remonte, for making the Army Provost Marshal relevant and responsive in the current times. To Col. Conte, carry on the energy in priming the Army Provost Marshal to make sure that we will provide quality service in the future," Maj. Gen. Camba said in his remarks.
