Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) unveils new facilities

The Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) (SFR[A]) unveiled its newly constructed Airborne Storage Facilities at the regiment’s headquarters in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on March 9, 2023.
 
The new SFR(A) facilities will be utilized by Special Forces School students. It is envisioned to play a pivotal role in capacitating Army paratroopers, according to SFR(A) Commander Brig. Gen. Ferdinand B. Napuli. Meanwhile, Police Maj. Gen. Mario A. Reyes, Director for Police Communication Relations, served as the activity’s guest of honor and speaker.
 
The newly constructed facilities are funded thru the Department of National Defense-Department of Public Works and Highways (DND-DPWH) Convergence Program also known Tatag ng Imprastaktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS).
 
The new facilities are part of the Army leadership's thrust to modernize facilities and push down mission-essential equipment to Army units to bolster their mission accomplishment.
