Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., together with Army Artillery Regiment Commander Brig. Gen. Anthony M. Coronel inaugurated the “King of Battle” Transient Facility during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on March 13, 2023.
The Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loans Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI) represented by AFPSLAI Clark Branch Head Ms. Charisse S. Elauria and the Army Chief then signed a deed of donation for various furniture that visitors will use in the newly opened transient facility.
The Army Chief, in his Talk To Troops, underscored the role of the regiment which is one of the Philippine Army Major Units at the forefront of the organization’s modernization. “There is no better time to join the Army Artillery but today, because now, one of the focuses of Philippine Army modernization is the enhancement of AAR capabilities and equipment,” the Army Chief remarked.
