Through the collaborative efforts of the Rapid and Deployment Team, the remains of the 6 onboard passengers of the missing CESSNA 206 plane were already unearthed on March 12, 2023 in Cauayan City, Isabela.
The Rapid Deployment Team was composed of the Army troops of the 95th Infantry “Salaknib” Battalion of the 5th Infantry Division, Tactical Operations Group 2 of the Philippine Air Force, Rescue 314 Divilacan, Philippine National Police (PNP) Divilacan, PNP Special Action Force (SAF), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), who helped in the retrieval operations of the six bodies.
It can be recalled that the plane went missing after it took off from Cauayan City Airport last January 24, 2023. After almost two months, the wreckage of the CESSNA 206 plane was found last March 9, 2023 at the mountainous part of Brgy. Ditarum, Divilacan, Isabela.
