Army personnel, reservists, civilians, dependents, and ROTC cadets participated in the Reservists’ Caravan launched by the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs (OG9) at the Headquarters Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on March 13, 2023.
Among the activities presented are the photo exhibit featuring the history of the ROTC in the Philippines; an audio-visual presentation to showcase the significant accomplishments of the reservists as well as the participation of ROTC Cadets in the nation-building; essay writing competition about ROTC; distribution of leaflets, calendars, and other information materials; and promotional activities by celebrity reservists.
Senator of the Republic of the Philippines Hon. Francis N. Tolentino served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker who emphasized the reservists’ significant role in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR), especially during calamities and national emergencies. Sen. Tolentino also conveyed his utmost gratitude for the selfless service and untiring support of the flourishing Army Reserve Force towards the betterment of the country.
