Sergeant Major Course Class learns the rich culture and history of Brunei

The Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Philippine Army conducted a Foreign Academic Travel (FAT) for the Sergeant Major Course (SMC) Class 10-2023 to learn the developmental and security values of the military, socio-economic, political, and cultural aspects of Brunei Darussalam on March 20-23, 2023.
 
Thirty-three Sergeant Majors together with seven training management staff visited the Headquarters of 1st Battalion of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Armed Force (RBAF) and the Training Simulation Center under the Training Institute of RBAF. The students learned about RBAF's organizational structure, education and training system, and management. Also, they witnessed the demonstration of Stick Drill Parade of the Senior NCOs and the Training Simulators.
 
Moroever, aside from the military-to-military interaction, the SMC delegates have also experienced learning the culture and traditions of Brunei people through series of tours to various historical landmarks, heritage parks, and ecotourism destinations.
