The Philippine Army won as the Champion under Team vs Team category during the 4th leg of the Game of the Generals (GOG) at the Philippine Air Force Firing Range, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on April 20, 2023.
Participants of the said game were the generals coming from the General Headquarters, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, Philippine National Police, and Philippine Coast Guard.
Team Army 1 which is led by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., won as the Champion of Team vs Team category while Team Army 2 which is led by Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Steve D. Crespillo, emerged as the overall 1st runner-up.
Army Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. emphasized that the game aims not only to showcase shooting skills but also to display sportsmanship and foster camaraderie among the military and various law enforcement agencies.
