The Philippine Army feted two officers who hurdled the 2022 Bar Exam in a recognition ceremony led by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., at the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse Pavilion, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on April 25, 2023.
The two Army officers —Lt. Col. Fritz P. Montemor of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Mandarangan” Class of 2003 and Lt. Col. Ricky James L. Rosalejos of PMA “Maliyab” Class of 2004—are among the 3,992 examinees who passed the 2022 Bar Exams administered by the Supreme Court in various testing centers nationwide in November 2022.
“Your recent achievement of passing the 2022 Bar Exam attests to your competency as a military officer. As your Commanding General, I am proud of the dedication and perseverance that you have demonstrated in this undertaking,” Lt. Gen. Brawner said in his keynote remarks during the recognition ceremony.
The Army Chief lauded the two officers for balancing their responsibilities as officers and as students of the law which led to their successful passing of the Bar which is considered as the toughest professional licensure examination in the country.
