The Philippine Army joined the ceremonial contract signing and groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two-storey modular facility units from Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association Inc. (AFPSLAI) on May 5, 2023 at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
Said donation is under the advocacy of AFPSLAI’s corporate philanthropy which allows them to give back to the members and the community they serve through funding initiatives and charitable contributions.
During the ceremony, Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. conveyed his appreciation to AFPSLAI for their untiring efforts to improve the quality of life of all men and women in the uniformed services.
"I express my profound gratitude to Team AFPSLAI for their continuous support in the Philippine Army’s institutional endeavors, especially our goal of attaining organizational development. Through our continuing convergence with our peace and nation-building partners from AFPSLAI, we will attain our shared goal of serving our constituents with excellence and advancing the best interest of our people," emphasized Lt. Gen. Brawner.
