The Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lieutenant General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. delivered a speech before the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Cadet Corps during his visit to Fort del Pilar, Baguio City on May 13, 2023.
A member of PMA "Makatao" Class of 1989, Lt. Gen. Brawner visited the PMA together with the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force (CGPAF) Lt. Gen. Stephen P. Parreño to turn over initial equipment for the premier military academy’s Philippine Army and Philippine Air Force laboratories.
Lt. Gen. Brawner also addressed members of the PMA Cadet Corps during his visit to the premier military institution. The CGPA noted how the PMA Cadet Corps surpassed the COVID-19 pandemic and the war against hazing which he spearheaded during his term as Commandant of Cadets.
The Army Chief also vowed to improve facilities at the PMA’s Army Battle Simulation Room, adding that the command will donate top-of-the-line computers, battle simulation software, a 3D printer, and other valuable equipment to bolster the PMA’s Philippine Army Laboratory. “I challenge you to continue the good practices that you have developed. Practice positive leadership and servant-leadership,” he remarked.
