The Philippine Army through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training (OG8), hosted a Field Study Visit for the Master in National Security Administration Regular Class (MNSA RC) 58 on May 19, 2023 at the Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA), Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
Sixty-five students together with 13 National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) faculty and staff visited the HPA to familiarize the students with the mandate of security and defense institutions of the country. The NDCP delegation was led by NDCP President Lt. Gen. Ferdinand M. Cartujano (Ret.) and was composed of 46 military officers, 10 government officials, one executive from the private sector, and eight International Military Students (IMS) from Bangladesh, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Thailand.
Headquarters and Headquarters Service Group (HHSG) Commander Brig. Gen. Moises M. Nayve Jr. conveyed his appreciation to the visiting class during the closing remarks and highlighted the importance of the program to equip them as future national security leaders and policymakers to understand global conditions and shape the strategic environment.
NDCP, the government’s highest center for education, training, and research on national defense and security, offers the one-year MNSA program which is the only graduate-level degree program in the country that covers a broad spectrum of national security policy formulation and administration.
