The Philippine Army through the Special Service Center of the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) kicked off basketball training for Army personnel dependents as part of the Summer Sports Clinic 2023 on June 19, 2023 at the Philippine Army Gymnasium, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
In connection with the Philippine Army Sports and Physical Fitness Program, basketball training is one of the activities offered in the month-long sports clinic which opened last June 15, 2023. It is a free annual training conducted for the dependents of Army personnel aged 18 years and below. The clinic is designed to allow children to interact with other PA dependents giving them opportunities to develop their social skills while engaging in physical activities designed to help them grow not only physically but psycho-emotionally as well.
The Army Commanding General supports the endeavors of the Special Service Center, HHSG for the conduct of training that nurtures PA dependents to be physically and psycho-emotionally healthy while honing their talents and skills this summer.
