Philippine Army dependents convened for a free summer swimming class on June 20, 2023 at the Philippine Army Swimming Pool, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The swimming class is one of the activities offered by the Special Service Center under the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) in their one-month-long Summer Sports Clinic 2023. It is open for Army dependents aged 18 years old and below every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The swimming training intends to develop not just the physical fitness side of PA children but also their cognitive skills which improve spatial awareness, coordination, and balance.
The Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. supports the efforts of the Special Service Center, HHSG for the conduct of swimming classes that foster active lifestyle, sportsmanship, and healthy minds among Army dependents.
