The Philippine Army through the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations (CMO) kicked-off the three-day CMO Consultative Seminar Workshop at the Orchid Gardens Resort, San Fernando, Pampanga on June 21, 2023.
The three-day seminar, scheduled from June 21 to June 23, 2023, is a continuing effort of the Army in enhancing the understanding of individual soldiers about the CMO thrusts. Participants from OG7, PA, Office of the Army Chief Public Affairs and Army Human Rights Office as well as G7s of Infantry Battalions, CMO Battalion Commanders, (both Inf Divisions and CMO Regiment) Commandant of CMO School, G3 and Directors of CMO Regiment will take part in the workshop. The activity will be conducted through a combination of presentations, workshops, and focus group discussions.
The Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. underscores the importance of developing the CMO skills of soldiers and the competencies of Army units in order to emerge victorious against local terrorists which will enable the security forces to attain operational excellence.
