Commander of Northern Luzon Command Lt. Gen. Fernyl G. Buca rendered a courtesy call on Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on June 22, 2023.
Lt. Gen. Buca, during the courtesy call, discussed concerns of Army units under the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM). This is to address gaps in the conduct of operations in order to establish a safer and secured environment against threats in the area. The Army Commanding General and NOLCOM Commander also talked about the importance of jointly engaged and readiness-trained force, including the employment of reservists and CAFGU Active Auxiliaries in preparation for the eventual transition to territorial defense operations.
The CGPA expressed his appreciation in the leadership of Lt. Gen Buca to further enhance NOLCOM’s operations and competencies.
