Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) celebrates its 61st founding anniversary

The Philippine Army’s Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) [SFRA(A)] celebrated its 61st founding anniversary with the theme, “SFR(A): Competent, Resilient and Effective SOF through the Years,” at Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on June 25, 2023.
 
The President and Armed Forces of the Philippines Commander-in-Chief Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., graced the event as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. Defense Secretary Gilbert C. Teodoro, Jr., Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Andres C. Centino, and Army Chief Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr. also attended the event.
 
SFR(A) highlighted the celebration by awarding outstanding personnel and unit under the regiment for their exemplary performance. Moreover, they also recognized their stakeholders for their contribution to accomplishing the unit’s mission.
