Two Army ballers and Gilas Pilipinas Women made their first win against Chinese Taipei in the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup 2023 at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, Australia on June 28, 2023.
Coming off a silver-medal finish in the Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia, Gilas Pilipinas Women completed their first mission to stay in Division A as they eased out Chinese Taipei 92-81 in Group B. The Gilas Women will now shift its focus on the qualification round against the No. 1 seed in Group A, which is set on June 30, 2023.
