The incoming Chairpersons of the Philippine Army Bids and Awards Committee (PABAC) and Special Bids and Awards Committee (SBAC) pledged their duties in an oath-taking ceremony, presided by the Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba at Silid Andres Bonifacio, Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on June 29, 2023.
The PABAC and SBAC consist of general officers who assist the Commanding General Philippine Army in the procurement of all PA assets. After the oath-taking, a Plaque of Recognition was also presented to the outgoing Chairpersons to appreciate their invaluable services as the head of their respective committees.
Moreover, the Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., through the Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba challenged the incoming Chairpersons to submit their commitment and dedication to fulfill their sworn duties. Likewise, the Army Chief lauded the outgoing Chairpersons for their outstanding leadership and professionalism, which contributed to the success of PA procurement projects.
