51st Engineer Brigade blesses new facilities and engineering equipment

The Philippine Army’s 51st Engineer Brigade (51EBde) unveiled its new facilities and engineering equipment as part of the celebration of its 57th founding anniversary on July 14, 2023, at Camp General Atienza, Libis, Quezon City.
 
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. graced the ribbon-cutting and blessing ceremony of the new facilities, including the Brigade Headquarters Building, OG2 Office Building, and 51E Barbershop, Billiard Hall, & Coop Building. The latest engineering assets were also unveiled, such as the mobility engineering equipment, road grader, vehicle-mounted mine detector, 15-cubic meter dump truck, and fire truck.
 
The Army chief commended the efforts of the 51EBde in building the new facilities and procuring various engineering equipment which would equip the personnel to carry out their mission, especially during humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR) operations.
