The Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA), Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., pays a courtesy call to the Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) or the Indonesian Army Chief of Staff Gen. Dr. Dudung Abdurachman on July 17, 2023, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Both Army chiefs talked about developing bilateral relations between the defense agencies and promoting cooperative activities in defense and security. The CGPA also discussed different guidelines and rules of procedures for the Army-to-Army activities with the TNI-AD.
CGPA expressed his utmost gratitude to the cooperation of the Indonesian Army on training, subject matter expert exchanges, exchange visits, and other areas of mutual interest with the Philippine Army. The Army chief also expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian Army for the continued partnership that will boost the capabilities of both armies.
