The Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., and Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ronald Mascariñas renewed partnership deal for Army personnel and dependents through signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the sustainable livelihood “KAWAN: kabuhayan para sa mga Kawal ng Bayan” at Silid Andres Bonifacio, Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City on July 19, 2023.

The Memorandum of Understanding MOU lays out the groundwork for educating and assisting retiring or separating Army personnel, including differently-abled personnel with Certification of Disability for Discharge (CDD) and dependents of soldiers Killed-In-Action (KIA), on the benefits of sustainable entrepreneurship and employment opportunities. The MOU gives multiple benefits, such as technical training for poultry contract growing, business and livelihood opportunities, the Bounty Fresh reseller program, and employment opportunities for all beneficiaries.

In his keynote message, Lt. Gen. Brawner Jr. conveyed his gratitude to BAVI for the company's benevolence and assistance for the Army soldiers, especially retired ones. "Marami sa sundalo natin when they retire, they really don't know what to do. But, with this, it gives them purpose," Lt. Gen. Brawner said.
