FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City - The Philippine Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido paid a visit to the Department of Tourism Secretary Hon. Christina G. Frasco on October 21, 2024 in Makati City.
During the visit, Lt. Gen. Galido gave updates on the Army's preparations for the upcoming Association of Southeast Asian Nations Annual Meet in November to be hosted by the Philippines. Hon. Frasco also shared the department's best practices during their successful hosting of the 6th Joint Meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for East Asia and the Pacific, the UN Tourism Commission for South Asia, and the First UN Tourism Regional Forum on Gastronomy Tourism for Asia and the Pacific.
