The 32 soldiers who fought in Marawi City and 3 others who also fought in Mindanao who are getting medical attention at the Army General Hospital, Army Support Command, PA were awarded with Wounded Personnel Medals.
The Commanding General of the Philippine Army Lieutenant General Glorioso V. Miranda led the pinning of medals to the wounded soldiers. The Army leadership is proud to congratulate the recipients of the award. This manifests the bravery, professionalism and heroism of the soldiers who continue to be a source of national pride.
The Army also extended its gratitude to all its personnel in Marawi City and all over the country who continue to risk their lives to achieve just and lasting peace and stability for the country.
