Army Officers' Ladies Club, Matteo Guidicelli lead relief distribution in Batangas

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City - Members of the Philippine Army Officers' Ladies Club Inc. (PAOLCI) and 2Lt. Matteo Guidicelli participated in the distribution of relief goods at West Bauan Central School in Bauan, Batangas today January 18.

Dubbed as "Kaagapay sa Taal", the PAOLCI members led by Mrs. Virginia Gapay and Guidicelli distributed relief packs to around 700 evacuees in the said school. The relief items were earlier collected from the different Landers Stores and repacked at the Army Headquarters prior to delivery and distribution. The group was also able to distribute foam matresses which were donated by Uratex Foam.

"The members of PAOLCI are spouses of Army officers who are as compassionate as their better halves in the service, and who also believe in serving the people. Our jobs as soldiers involve sacrifice and selflessness and our families also share in that mindset of caring for people who are in need," said Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala, the Army Spokesperson.
