Colonel Thomas Sedano Jr, commander of the JTG “Tabang” called for a meeting on Wednesday, July 12 at the provincial capitol to discuss the conduct of visitation and inspection to the evacuation centers in 2nd District of Lanao del Sur.
The meeting was joined by the PNP Lanao Del Sur provincial director, deputy commanders of JTG “Ranao” and JTG “Haribon”, other officers of the TG “Tabang”, and Ms Maharlanny S Alonto, the director of the provincial social welfare office.
“We shall start working so we can accomplish more. We need to see the condition of our people at the evacuation centers for us to assess their immediate concerns so all of us can address them immediately,” states Col Sedano.
JTG “Tabang” has been visiting various evacuation centers to dialogue with the people. The unit also assists the local agencies in the relief and humanitarian operations to help the displaced families since its arrival few days ago.
