Army receives 15,000 face mask donations for frontline troops

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army received 15,000 face masks from the Indian Defense company MKU Limited through the Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) here today, March 18, 2020.

The face masks turned over by PITC Under Secretary Dave Almarinez to Col. Patricio Ruben P. Amata, Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, will be distributed to the uniformed personnel deployed in checkpoints and medical staff of Army General Hospital.

“We are grateful for your generosity to our front liners,” Amata said. “Your support will come a long way in our pursuit to the combat the threats of COVID-19 against our people,” Amata added.
