Army partakes in metro wide earthquake drill

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila -The Philippine Army takes part in the metro wide earthquake drill held here today, July 14, 2017.
This is the 3rd Metro Shake Drill led by the Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC) and the Manila Metropolitan Development Authority (MMDA) this 2017.

 This activity is conducted with the aim to equip the Army’s personnel with adequate knowledge to face natural disasters that may come at anytime.
Led by Philippine Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Glorioso V. Miranda, army personnel and Civilian Employees actively participated in the drill.
The scenario during the drill was a 7.2 magnitude earthquake generated by the movement of the West Valley Fault.#
