PANTAR, Lanao Del Norte – 2 months after Maute terrorists group attacked Marawi City, different evacuation centers are continuously growing to cater the needs of the displaced families.

Various LGUs, LGAs, and other stakeholders worked together to ensure that essential relief items needed in the temporary shelters are being addressed, including the military.

As a continuing effort, the Joint Task Group Tabang constantly send its troops to the different evacuation centers within Lanao del Sur and del Norte.

Yesterday, troops were able to visit the Madrasa Campong evacuation center located in Brgy. Campong, Pantar town, Lanao Del Norte.

People housed in the said evacuation center received lectures, dialogues, and information materials for their safety and security.

People were also given right information about the situation in Marawi City and the extension of martial law in Mindanao.

Set in the open ground, soldiers also articulated the virtue of Maranaos. “Huwag kayong mawalan ng Pag-asa, dahil Kung diskarte sa buhay ang pag-uusapan, bilib ako sa mga Maranao. Kaya dapat bilib din kayo sa sarili niyo. Kami na inyong sundalo, sama-sama nating ibabangon muli ang siyudad ng Marawi” (Don’t lose hope, because if we will talk about ingenuity, I admire Maranao, therefore, you must also admire yourselves. We, your soldiers, let’s be united to rebuild Marawi City), says Corporal Lozano.
