3rd Civil-Military Operations “Peacemaker” Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army conducts Civil-Military Operations to counter Communist Terrorist Movement’s (CTM’s) Ideological-Political-Organizational (IPO) works and Agitation-Organizing-Mobilization (AOM) efforts effective July 1, 2019 in order to deny the CTM’s mass base support and alliance-building in the Area of Operations of the 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division, Philippine Army which covers the whole of Western and Central Visayas comprising ten (10) provinces. True to its motto “Kaupod sa Kalinong kag Kauswagan” (Partner in Peace and Development), the 3CMOBn’s sustained efforts in Community Support Programs led to the surrender of NPA’s high value personalities and redirection of a number of Communist Affected Mass Organizations in favor to the government.
