The activation of 5th Civil-Military Operations “Kabalikat” Battalion effectively facilitated 25 NPA rebels who return to the fold of the law, including twenty-eight (28) batches of young leaders through Youth Leadership Seminars (YLS) in the Area of Operations of the 5th Infantry “Star” Division, Philippine Army. The unit also conducted disaster and rescue operation as its area of operation. Likewise the unit participated in the Brigada Eskwela, assisting the ASKI foundation programs, sustain community and sectoral based endeavor and other related CMO activities. The 5CMO Battalion further recognized its genuine support and involvement in realization for the full implementation of the Cordillera Peoples Liberation Army (CPLA) Integration Program.

LTC DOMINADOR B VALERIO (INF) PA was born in Barangay Villa Concepcion, Cauayan City, Isabela, on 19 May 1973. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education at the Isabela Colleges Foundation, Cauayan City, Isabela, in 1994. He started his career as a member of the AFP when he joined the Candidate Soldier Course Class 26 - 1994 and Called to Active Duty as 2^nd Lieutenant and proud member of Officer Preparatory Course “MILENYO” Class 41 - 2000.
