MAJ ARTURO M DUMALAGAN (INF) PA, born on 1 July 1974 is a product of Officers Preparatory Course CL 46-2003. He is Married to Miss Annabelle Dalangin Dumalagan and has three children namely; Arthur John, Princess Ariane and Francis Axl.
MAJ DUMALAGAN has been serving the military for 20 years. Before Call to Active duty, he was enlisted into the regular force as Corporal and after serving more than 2 years as Enlisted Man he was call to active duty as filler Officer before passing the regular active duty.
MAJ DUMALAGAN's first assignment was in 65th Infantry (STALLWART) Battalion of 9th Infantry (SPEAR) Division whom he had served for 10 years with two geographical assignment duties gained from serving in Albay, Bicol and Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur for 5 years each which he served from Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Battalion Staff and Acting Executive Officer before he was reassigned to 8th Infantry Division.
MAJ DUMALAGAN while serving as Executive Officer of 63rd Infantry (INNOVATOR) Battalion of 8th Infantry (STORMTROPERS) Division was deployed Sulu, while most of the battalion are busy combatting the ABUSAYAF he found ways of delivering basic services to the communities affected by the unending war against the local terrorist in the area. He initiated the “Tsinelas Para sa Kapayapaan” now the “Tsinelas ng Pag-Asa” Project which made him into top 10 finalist of the Most Outstanding Filipino Soldiers sponsored by Metrobank Foundation in 2017.
His fraternal affiliation influenced him to be of service to communities that in need of help since his Lieutenant days. He has been with fraternities who promotes community service and advocating peace.
