5 Militia surrenders with firearm and war materiel in Batangas
CAMP CAPINPIN, Rizal – Five Milisyang Bayan members voluntary surrendered with firearm and other war materiel in Nasugbu, Batangas on Sunday, May 12, 2023.
Troops from the 59th Infantry “Protector” Battalion and Batangas PNP facilitated the voluntary surrender of five Milisyang Bayan members at Barangay Biliran in Nasugbu, Batangas. Alias Mark, 31, is a member of the Eduardo Dagli Command Group of the Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee’s Sub-Regional Military Area 4C. Alias Efren, 47, is the vice president of Samahan ng Mandaragat sa Barangay Hukay, Inc (SMBHI), and alias Bryan, 37; alias Fermin, 42; and alias Rico, 52, are members of SMBHI. All five Milisyang Bayan members are from Barangay Hukay. They surrendered one Caliber 38 Smith and Wesson pistol with 6 ammunitions, two pcs 40mm grenade and materials for making improvised explosive devices that includes, eight pieces detonating cords, one blasting cap, one black container and wires and ammonium nitrate oil.

General Roberto S. Capulong said in a statement.
