CAMP CAPINPIN, Rizal - Soldiers of the 2nd Infantry "Jungle Fighter" Division donated blood to the Victoriano Luna Medical Center and San Lazaro Hospital on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
A total of 57 blood donors consisting of officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resource of the Division successfully gave 25,650 ml of blood. The said activity will benefit military personnel, civilian human resource, and their dependents at VLMC and other civilian blood recipient at SLH.
In his statement, 2ID Commander Maj. Gen. Rowen S. Tolentino reiterated the Division's unyielding efforts, saying that "we remain committed in our mandate to serve the people not only through our traditional military role, humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR) efforts but also through causes like this, especially during this time of health crisis.
