NPA officer surrenders in Oriental Mindoro
CAMP CAPINPIN, Rizal – An NPA officer voluntarily surrenders to government troops in Oriental Mindoro, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
Troops from the 4th Infantry “Scorpion” Battalion of the 203rd Infantry “Bantay Kapayapaan” Brigade facilitated the voluntary surrender of alias Oning/Mon-Mon/Missy/Misi in Barangay Wasig of Mansalay. Alias Oning is the medical and logistics officer of Platun Serna of KLG MAV of the Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee’s Sub-Regional Military Area 4D.

We will be continuously working with all sectors to encourage more of the remaining NPA rebels to heed the call for peace and work with the government for a better future with their families.”, 2nd Infantry "Jungle Fighter" Division Commander Maj. General Roberto S. Capulong said in a statement.
