GMA Kapuso Foundation, in collaboration with Joint Task Force-NCR headed by BGEN ALEX DC LUNA AFP and with the assistance of the CMO Company, 11th Civil Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion under 2LT FETZIRALD F GALANGO (INF) PA, facilitated the Distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among various hospitals and COVID-19 Quarantine Checkpoints within Quezon City.
The PPE’s will significantly increase the health capacity of these institutions in their fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic. As such, beneficiaries to this program were very grateful for having received this valuable items at a time when medical supplies were in critical supply.
Likewise, BGEN LUNA was also grateful for the PPEs in the form of surgical masks and rubber gloves that were donated among soldiers and policemen deployed at checkpoints. “Malaki po ang pasasalamat namin” was his grateful reply to Ms. Mel Tiangco, the founder of GMA Kapuso Foundation.
