Cauayan, Negros Ocidental - 14th Civil-Military Operations (Voice of Peace) Battalion led by MAJOR ARTURO M DUMALAGN (INF) PA together with Bravo Company 15th Infantry Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division led by 1Lt Elnard M Alde (FS) PA, and together with the Southern Negros United Clubs (SNUC) headed by their President Constancia Garaygayin and in coordination with Punong Barangay Teodorico Dulla had successfully distributed 240 slippers to the parents and children of Brgy Basak Proper, Cauayan, Negros Occidental on 13 March 2021.
During the said activity, Hon Dulla mentioned that he expects that the good relationship between the community and members of the Philippine Army will be sustained and much more strengthen. Dulla, also added that they support the Philippine Army’s campaign to condemn the massive recruitment of CPP-NPA-NDF in their area. Also, Hon Dulla recognized the effort and essence of the women in uniform as the world celebrate the National Women’s Month.
“Seeing these children wearing their new pairs of slippers with smiles on their faces urges us to work hand in hand with other stakeholders in giving services to more communities, especially to the youth”, Major Dumalagan added.
